Christian Frisch (cyclist)

Christian Frisch (born July 3, 1891 in Copenhagen ; † December 7, 1954 there ) was a Danish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Frisch (also Kristian Frisch; with full name Christian (Kristian) Peter Johannes Ansgar Frisch) started for the association Birkerød Cycle Club . His first major success was winning the Sjælland Rundt in 1915. 1917 was his most successful year. He became Danish road racing champion and won the most important stage race in Scandinavia at the time , the Swedish Mälaren Tour before the Swede Erik Westerberg. At the national championships in 1919 he won the bronze medal behind the winner Carl Mortensen. In 1920 he was a participant in the Summer Olympics in Antwerp . In Harry Stenquist's victory , he finished 19th.
