Christian Lord God
Christian Herrgott (born August 28, 1984 in Schleiz ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
education and profession
After graduating from high school in 2003 at the Dr.-Konrad-Duden-Gymnasium Schleiz , he did his military service as a reserve officer candidate in the armed forces . He moved to the career of the officers of the army service and studied Political Science ( Bachelor / Master ) at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg . Most recently, the regular soldier held the rank of captain and was deployed in the 383 Command Support Battalion in Erfurt . Since then, Herrgott has been doing regular military exercises and was promoted to Major d. R. promoted. In 2012 he became a civil servant in the Saale-Orla district .
politics
In 2000 he joined the Junge Union and in 2002 the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). He held various party offices, was a member of the party commission “Modern Administration 2020” from 2012 to 2013 and is currently a member of the state board of the Young Union of Thuringia. In the state elections in Thuringia in 2014 , he was a direct candidate in the Saale-Orla-Kreis II constituency (constituency 34). He received 39.8 percent of the first votes and moved as a member of the 6th Thuringian state parliament . In 2019, with 32.5 percent of the votes, a direct mandate again entered the state parliament.
Memberships
Herrgott has been Vice President of People's Solidarity Germany since 2016 as well as a member u. a. the Clausewitz Society , the German Atlantic Society and the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge as well as chairman of the district youth association Saale-Orla-Kreis.
Private
Lord God lives in Neustadt an der Orla and is baptized Protestant .
