Christian Renatus

Christian Renatus (* 8. June 1947 in Marienberg ) is a former politician of GDR ( LDPD ) and current PR consultant . He was chairman of the LDPD district association Karl-Marx-Stadt .

Life

After graduating from high school, Renatus completed an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic. He graduated from the Technical University of Dresden with a degree in engineering. He then worked from 1971 to 1982 as a vocational school teacher. Renatus became a member of the LDPD in 1971 and later chairman of the LDPD district association Marienberg . In January 1982 he became full-time deputy chairman and in November 1985 chairman of the district association Karl-Marx-Stadt of the LDPD. From 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the Karl-Marx-Stadt district assembly . On December 21, 1987, at the 3rd meeting of the LDPD central board, he was elected a member of the political committee and secretary of the central board.

After the reunification in the GDR , Renatus joined the Free Democratic Party (FDP) via the intermediate station Bund Free Democrats (BFD) . He became the general representative of Liberal Verlag GmbH, which is close to the FDP, and from 1999 to 2009 also served as its managing director. As such, he was responsible for the organizational implementation of all advertising and PR measures of the FDP in the 2009 Bundestag election . Between 2009 and 2014 he was a member of the board of the FDP-affiliated Universum Kommunikation und Medien AG . He was also responsible for coordinating the election campaign in the 2013 federal election as the FDP commissioner. He has been working as a freelance PR consultant since 2014 and was responsible, among other things, for the state election campaigns of the FDP in Hamburg 2015 , Bremen 2015 , Saxony-Anhalt 2016 , Berlin 2016 , Schleswig-Holstein 2017 , Bremen 2019 and Brandenburg 2019 .
