Christoph Koziol (born October 31, 1982 in Rosenheim ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Hannover Scorpions from the league since 2015 .

Career

Koziol began his ice hockey career with his home club, the Starbulls Rosenheim , for which he was first used in the first team in the Bavarian State League in the 2001/02 season . In his first season he was promoted to the regional league with Rosenheim . After two seasons in the Regionalliga, he won the championship title in the Bavarian League with Rosenheim in 2004 and was promoted to the Oberliga .

After two more years in Rosenheim, Koziol was looking for a new challenge and switched to the Blue Devils Weiden for the 2006/07 season . After a season he left the EV Weiden and joined the second division EV Landsberg . After the EVL was relegated to the Oberliga, Koziol moved to the Hanover Indians , with whom he became champions of the Oberliga Nord in 2008/09 and was promoted to the 2nd division. After another season in Hanover, he signed for the 2010/11 season with the league promoted Mosquitos Essen .

In the summer of 2011, he joined the EHC Dortmund , but switched to league rivals Kassel Huskies after the preliminary round .
