criticism

Matthias Flügge writes about Meyer in the exhibition catalog from May 1989, on the exhibition in the “Studio Bildende Kunst” Baumschulenstrasse 78: “Christoph Meyer works on the pictures for a long time and reduces the motif to pure emotional communication in a process of self-exploration. Different suggestions meet here. The living senses of perception lead art and reality to a synthesis. Musical principles, adaptations of foreign artificial languages and the helpful coincidences of design go into the conception of form. The decisive remainder is the desire to work. "
