Christoph Ullrich (born June 28, 1960 in Limburg an der Lahn ) is a German administrative officer, CDU politician and judge.

Life

After graduating from the Fürst-Johann-Ludwig-Schule in Hadamar and then doing community service at the German Red Cross Oberlahn in Weilburg , Christoph Ullrich studied law at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen . In 1985 he passed the first state examination in law. The second state examination followed in 1988 after a legal traineeship at the regional court in Limburg an der Lahn . Ullrich was 1987-1989 research associate of the Bundestag representative Michael Jung , 1991, he was in casting at Peter Cramer with a thesis on the subject of -order traffic privileges and general clause in the doctorate .

After his studies he was a judge at the district courts of Wiesbaden , Hadamar and Weilburg . In 1999 he was seconded to the Hessian state representation in Berlin, then as a consultant to the Hessian Ministry of Justice . In 2001 he became the press spokesman for Minister Christean Wagner . In the following year he was appointed director of the Dillenburg district court . In 2006 he became Vice President and in 2008 President of the Marburg Regional Court . In October 2014 he became President of the Limburg Regional Court. On September 14, 2015, the Hessian state government appointed Ullrich as the successor of Lars Witteck as regional president of the Gießen regional council in its cabinet meeting , and the inauguration took place on October 2, 2015.

Until 2014, Christoph Ullrich was a member of the CDU parliamentary group of the Limburg-Weilburg district council for around 16 years . He is married and has two daughters.
