Christophorus 10 is the name for the location of an emergency helicopter of the Christophorus Air Rescue Association under the umbrella of the Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club . The Eurocopter EC 135 helicopter bears the aircraft registration OE-XEI and is stationed at Linz Airport.

On April 1, 2001, the Christophorus 10 replaced the Martin 2 emergency doctor's helicopter used by the Federal Ministry of the Interior at the Linz flight operations center since 1988 . The flight operations center itself has existed since 1975. In 2001, the new Eurocopter EC 135 was put into service instead of the previous Écureuil AS 355 machine . In January 2003 the newly established base on the grounds of the airport in Linz was moved into. This was built by the state of Upper Austria and continues to serve as a flight operations center.

The daily operational readiness lasts from 6 a.m. until the end of civil twilight . The Christophorus 10 is alerted to around 900 to 1200 use per year primarily by the control centers in Lower Austria and Linz-Mühlviertel . The medical staff for the helicopter is provided by the Med Campus III of the Kepler University Hospital .
