Cimo is part of the Ticino municipality of Bioggio , in the Agno district in the Lugano district .

geography

The village is 559 m above sea level. M. on the right side slope of the Val Vedeggio , 1 km northwest of Agno TI and 7 km west of Lugano .

history

The village was first mentioned in 1335 under the name Gimo at the time .

Cimo merged with Bioggio on April 4, 2004.
