The 22nd Commonwealth Games are expected to take place from August 27 to September 7, 2022 in the English city ​​of Birmingham , United Kingdom , after the original location of Durban , South Africa, was withdrawn.

First award 2015

In September 2015, the 2022 Commonwealth Games were awarded to the South African city of Durban.
