The Communauté de communes de Montrevel-en-Bresse is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Ain , the administrative seat of which was in Montrevel-en-Bresse .
The community association consisted of 14 communities and had 17,517 inhabitants (as of 2013) on an area of 213.8 km 2 . This comprised a central part of the Bresse landscape in the north of the prefecture of Bourg-en-Bresse . Jean Pierre Roche was last president of the community association.
tasks
The competencies required included the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning based on a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association ran the road maintenance department and assumed responsibility for household waste disposal as a member of Organom , a superordinate special-purpose association active in the Arrondissement of Bourg-en-Bresse . The association also built and maintained cultural and sports facilities.
Historical development
The Communauté de communes existed since January 1, 2002 and was based on a predecessor association founded in 1965 ( district ).
The community association merged with the community associations with effect from January 1, 2017
