Corina Ssuschke-Voigt (born May 9, 1983 in Karl-Marx-Stadt as Corina Ssuschke ) is a German national volleyball player .
Career
Ssuschke began her career in her hometown at Chemnitz PSV . She came to Dresdner SC in 2001 through VCO Pirna . With the Saxons she won the DVV Cup in 2002 and the German championship in 2007 . In 2003 she made her debut in the senior national team . However, after her first internationals, she was not considered for several years. Only under the new national coach Giovanni Guidetti was she allowed to play in the DVV selection again and recommended herself for the squad of the 2006 World Cup in Japan. There the team finished eleventh in the end. In 2007 she took part in the European Championships in Belgium and finished sixth with the national team.
From 2008 to 2009 Ssuschke played in the first Italian league at Cesena , after which she moved to the Czech Republic to VK Prostějov and immediately became Czech champion and cup winner. In 2011 she won the national double again with Prostějov and the title of the Central European Volleyball League (MEVZA). With the national team, she became Vice European Champion in October 2011 . She then played in Poland for Trefl Sopot , where she became Polish champion in 2012 together with her national team colleague Margareta Kozuch . In 2012 she moved to Azerbaijan for the Challenge Cup winner Lokomotiv Baku . In 2013 she won the European league with the national team and was again vice European champion . Then she moved to the French champions RC Cannes for half a year . In January 2014 Ssuschke-Voigt returned to the Bundesliga club Dresdner SC and won the German championship again. A planned move to league rivals Volleystars Thuringia for the 2014/15 season was canceled because of her pregnancy . From 2015 she played for the newly promoted Bundesliga NawaRo Straubing , due to differences with the club's management, Ssuschke-Voigt left the club during the current season. In 2016 she joined the second division club VV Grimma and later the third division club CPSV Volleys Chemnitz .
