The Gmina wiejska Człuchów ([ ˈʧwuxuf ]) is a self-governing rural municipality in Poland and is located in the powiat Człuchowski of the Pomeranian Voivodeship . The municipality has an area of 361.65 km² with 11,116 inhabitants (June 30, 2019). The seat of the municipality and the district is located in the eponymous city of Człuchów ( German Schlochau ), which does not belong to the rural municipality.
geography
The rural commune completely encompasses the city of Człuchów. In addition to the district town, neighboring communities are: Chojnice ( Konitz ), Czarne ( Hammerstein ), Debrzno ( Prussian Friedland ), Kamień Krajeński ( Kamin ), Konarzyny , Przechlewo ( Prechlau ) and Rzeczenica ( Stegers ). The Gmina is located in the former West Prussia , 15 kilometers west-southwest of Konitz (Chojnice).
The 35.9 kilometer long Debrzynka ( Dobrinka ) rises near Mosiny .
