Dan Peters (born August 18, 1967 ) is an American musician.
He is the drummer and a founding member of the grunge band Mudhoney, founded in 1987 . When Mudhoney broke up briefly in 1990, he became a member of the band Nirvana for two months , where he also played drums. With Nirvana he recorded the song Sliver .
