Dale Crover

Dale Crover (born  October 23, 1967 in Aberdeen , Washington ) is an American rock musician.

Crover has been a drummer with the Melvins since 1984 , and in 1994 he founded the band Altamont , in which he sings and plays the guitar.

In 1985 Crover founded the band Fecal Matter as a bassist with Kurt Cobain . He was also a brief drummer at Nirvana in early 1988 and 1990 . He felt very much at home in the band Nirvana, but nevertheless he left them later. In 1988 he moved to San Francisco .

In 2016, Rolling Stone listed Crover as 69th of the 100 best drummers of all time .
