Daniel Koerber

Daniel Körber (born November 8, 1974 in Darmstadt , Hessen ) is a German ice hockey player who played in the DEL for the Adler Mannheim , the Revier Löwen Oberhausen , the Kassel Huskies and the Mosquitos Essen .

Player career

The 1.87 m tall striker began his career in the youth teams of the Mannheim ERC, for which he made his first Bundesliga appearances in the 1991/92 season .

Even after the DEL was founded in 1994 , the left-handed shooter was on the ice for the Mannheim team, and in 1997 Körber even won the German championship with the Adler , the outsourced professional team of MERC in the new top German division . For the 1997/98 season the attacker signed a contract with the ERC Revier Löwen from Oberhausen, for which he played for two years and then switched to the Kassel Huskies. After a one-year guest appearance in the North American Minor League WPHL at the Alexandria Warthogs , Körber returned to Germany, where he again spent two seasons in the DEL, this time at ESC Moskitos Essen. In 2002 Daniel Körber moved to the 2nd Bundesliga to Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg , other second division stations were EV Regensburg and finally the Dresdner Eislöwen , with whom he ended his career after the 2005/06 season.

In the 2010/2011 season he returned to the ice as a player and played for the Löwen Frankfurt in the Regionalliga NRW.
