Daniel Sans

Daniel Sans (* 1975 ) is a German tenor singer .

Life

Daniel Sans was a boy soprano in the Mainz Cathedral Choir . He studied with Martin Gründler at the Musikhochschule in Frankfurt and then specialized in oratorio and lieder singing with Karl-Heinz Jarius and Charles Spencer.

Sans performed in the Wiener Konzerthaus with Michael Schneider , in the Teatro Colón with Karl-Friedrich Beringer , at the Feldkirch Festival with Thomas Hengelbrock , in the Cologne Philharmonie with Peter Neumann , in the Berlin Philharmonie with Hans-Christoph Rademann , in the Dresdner Kreuzkirche with Roderich Kreile , in the Leipzig Thomaskirche with Gotthold Schwarz , and in the Alte Oper in Frankfurt with Ralf Otto . In 2009 he performed Mendelssohn's Paulus with the State Youth Orchestra of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Sans works regularly with the Mainz Bach Choir and Ralf Otto. He performed with choirs from the Rhine-Main area , for example in 1999 with Christof Fischesser in Puccini's Messa di Gloria in St. Martin, Idstein , and in the basilica of Johannisberg Castle . In 2001 he sang the tenor part in Britten 's The Company of Heaven for speakers, soloists, choir and orchestra (1937), which the composer had written for Peter Pears . In 2002 he was the tenor soloist (Uriel) in Haydn's The Creation in St. Martin, Idstein, a performance as part of the Hessentag with Valentina Farcas and Johannes Schendel, the Idsteiner Kantorei and the St. Martin choir, the Antichi Strumenti orchestra on historical Classical instruments, directed by Edwin Müller and Franz Fink. In 2009 he sang the part with Elisabeth Scholl (Gabriel, Eva), Andreas Pruys (Raphael, Adam) and the Neue Rheingauer Kantorei in the Rheingau Cathedral in Geisenheim and in the basilica of Johannisberg Castle.

Sans took Nicol Matt, the measuring of Mozart on and Bruckner's Mass No.. 1 in D minor . He recorded the Levin completion of Mozart's Requiem with the Mainz Bach Choir , L'arpa festante , Julia Kleiter , Gerhild Romberger and Klaus Mertens . He recorded Schubert's Mass in E flat major with Mathias Breitschaft and Mendelssohn's Elias with Ronen Borshevsky. Again with Matt he recorded all of Mendelssohn's choral works in 2002 and Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde and Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor in 2006 .
