David Marciano (born January 7, 1960 in New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Born in New York, he briefly moved to Belleville at the age of eight , before later returning to his hometown. During his childhood Marciano was more interested in sports, especially football , than in acting. When he was 17, he had serious problems: On the one hand, he wasted a lot of money in gambling and, on the other, he was on drugs . Marciano managed, however, to free himself from this situation. He then moved to Boston and studied biomedical engineering at Northeastern University . Marciano was very gifted at math , but switching to accounting was out of the question for him. The decision to pursue an acting career was only made after an aptitude test, which, in addition to acting, also resulted in architecture for him.

His real career began with a few guest appearances on television series, the first in 1987 in the series Battle Against the Mafia . He also appeared in China Beach , Duet and Superboy . He later starred in the films The Last Don and Dark Spiral . The greatest success he achieved with Ein Mountie in Chicago , where he played the police officer Ray Vecchio. After the series, Marciano worked in the series Diagnose Mord as well as Amy , The Mind of the Morried and Chicken Man for all cases . Marciano has recently been active in contract and caught on tape .

Marciano has two daughters and a son.
