De'Aaron Martez Fox (born December 20, 1997 in New Orleans ) is an American basketball player who is currently under contract with the Sacramento Kings in the NBA.

career

High school and college

Fox played at Cypress Lakes High School in the city of Katy , Texas, and won numerous personal awards, including being named the best high school player of 2016 in Texas. He played for the US selection at the “Nike Hoop Summit” and was named the best player in the “Jordan Brand Classic” together with Malik Monk .

Like Monk, Fox played for the University of Kentucky team in the 2016-17 season . In 36 appearances for "UK" Fox scored 17 points per encounter and was the team's best assist provider with an average of 4.6 assists per game.

NBA

Following the 2016/17 season, Fox left Kentucky and embarked on a professional career. He submitted his registration for the 2017 NBA Draft and was featured in several predictive rankings among the top ten candidates for the draft. Fox was selected by the Sacramento Kings in fifth place in the subsequent NBA draft .

In his NBA opening year 2017/18, Fox played 73 games for Sacramento and achieved averages of 11.6 points as well as 4.4 basket assists and 2.8 rebounds per encounter.

In the 2018/19 game year he continued to improve and was always in the starting line-up in his 81 appearances. He scored an average of 17.3 points, 7.3 basket successes from teammates and collected 3.8 rebounds.
