The Denizli Ataturk Stadı (also Denizli Ataturk Stadyumu , German Denizli Ataturk Stadium ) is a stadium that is located in the Turkish city of Denizli . Denizlispor's home was built in 1950 and opened that same year. Between 1950 and 1984 the surface consisted of a mixture of soil and was only replaced by natural grass in 1984. A total of 15,427 spectators can be accommodated; The entire stadium is equipped with seats, there is no standing room.
After Denizlispor was able to celebrate the championship of the TFF 1st Lig and promotion to the Süper Lig in the 2018/19 season , President Ali Çetin announced that the stadium will have a further 3,000 seats. Construction began in June 2019 and was completed a few months later. The home of Denizlispor will have 18,745 seats after the renovation.
