action

When the crook Dingus Magee happens to meet his old friend Hoke Birdsill, Magee has nothing better to do than to relieve Birdsill of his savings. No wonder that Hoke is pissed off and looks for the law enforcement officer in the small town of Yerkey's Hole so that he can get his money back for him. But he is unlucky, the only one who has something to say ex officio far and wide is Belle Nops, mayor and brothel owner rolled into one. When Hoke comes to her, she makes him sheriff by virtue of her office as mayor. Birdsill immediately went in search of Dirty Dingus Magee and was promptly successful. Dirty Dingus, who found his profile in the wilderness and is still annoyed about the lousy sum of $ 10 reward, is caught by Hoke and imprisoned. The Indian girl Anna Hot Water, who fell in love with Dingus Magee, finally freed him from prison and escaped.

When Belle Nops learns that the person in charge of the nearby fort and his soldiers want to go to the battle of Little Big Horn against Sitting Bull for glory and honor , she sees her existence threatened and orders Hoke to instigate an Indian revolt so that the soldiers stay and take care of the local Indians, after all, the soldiers are regular customers in their establishment.

After Dirty Dingus, his bad reputation now precedes him, robbed the stagecoach more by mistake, the wagoners panicked and left him the treasure chest and flee. Dingus buries the treasure in a barrow and accompanies the Indian girl to her tribe. There it turns out that the pretty Indian girl Hot Water is the chief's daughter, and against the involuntary exchange of his rifle, Dingus finally gets Anna as his wife. The honeymoon turns out to be more of an embarrassing ordeal and so Dingus flees back to civilization. There Hoke found out by chance from the married school teacher Prudence Frost, where Dingus Magee could have buried the treasure. When Dirty Dingus sets out to retrieve the treasure, all he finds is his clothes in the grave and the hat that he took from Hoke. Without money but one experience richer, he accidentally meets the notorious gunslinger John Wesley Hardin and sets him on a duel with Hoke. Hoke and Dingus clash again after the town breaks out in gunfire between the citizens and John Wesley Hardin, which luckily no one is injured. The two decide once again to have a short partnership in matters of treasure chest, only to break the agreement a moment later. Hoke has put Dingus out of action and wants to escape with the treasure chest, but at this moment the soldiers return from their brief Indian mission.

The next morning the contingent is already prepared, they are to be married. The school teacher Prudence Frost marries the Cobowy Charles Stuart and Belle Nops wants to bind Hoke to her. However, since he accidentally disposed of one of his burning cigars improperly in the heat of the moment, Belle's brothel went up in flames a short time later. In the general chaos, Dirtiy Dingus, along with his Indian girl and Hoke, manage to escape the city with an open car and a chest full of money, Belle's money. She sees herself cheated out of her brothel, her fortune and the planned husband and rushes after the thieves, furious.

Reviews

“A parody of American westerns, enriched with humor and clumsy sex, the main characters of which are comical and pathetic types rather than noble heroes. Acting a pleasure ”, said the lexicon of international film .
