Michele Carey (born February 26, 1943 in Annapolis , Maryland - † November 21, 2018 in Newport Beach , California ) was an American actress .

life and work

Michele Carey was born in Annapolis to a doctor and coach at the United States Naval Academy . She spent her childhood in Rochester . She was successful as a child as a pianist and played in the Rochester Symphony Orchestra . She later became a successful model at Powers Agency.

In 1965, Michele Carey made her first film appearance in a small role in How to Stuff a Wild Bikini . The following year, the breakthrough came in the role of Joey MacDonald in El Dorado by Howard Hawks . This was followed by roles in The Wild Years and, alongside Elvis Presley, in Darling, Let It Lie . In 1970, she played the lead role in the revenge drama The bestial and Frank Sinatra's wife Anna Hot Water in the "hottest" of all the bandits of Burt Kennedy . In 1973 she starred in the television film Savage , directed by the young Steven Spielberg . In the mid-1980s she had a brief comeback, including in In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro .

Her debut as an actress took place in the television series Solo for ONCEL. She had other guest roles in series such as Cobra, Take Over , Your Appearance, Al Mundy , Alias ​​Smith and Jones , Smoking Guns , Starsky & Hutch or Ein Colt just in case . Her only series lead role was 1979 the voice of the computer Effie in nine of the twelve episodes of the series A Man Called Sloane .

Michelle Carey was married twice. She was briefly married in high school . From this marriage she has a son. From 1999 until his death at the end of 2011, she was married to the entrepreneur Fred G. Strebel.

She died at the age of 75 in November 2018.
