Inken summer

Inken Sommer (born May 18, 1937 in Berlin ; † July 29, 2018 there ) was a German actress , radio play and voice actor , and screenwriter .

Career

As an actress, Sommer has appeared in television series such as Derrick , Tatort , Der Alte and Der kleine Doktor . In 1973, she played a leading role as Manette in the TV movie My Uncle Benjamin .

Inken Sommer was known to a wide audience primarily for her voice. Since 1972 she has loaned these actresses, internationally known as dubbing actresses, such as Catherine Deneuve (It always only happens to the others) , Angie Dickinson (dead people never get mail) , Barbara Eden ( Dallas ) , Linda Evans (Avalanche Express) and Mary Tyler Moore (The richer, the poorer) . She also spoke to Klein Bibo in Sesame Street , Lwaxana Troi in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and cartoon characters like Gundel Gaukeley ( DuckTales - News from Duckburg ) and Squirrel Slappy ( Animaniacs ).

As a radio play speaker she worked a. a. in stories about Bibi Blocksberg , as Coco Zamis in the demon killer series, in various episodes of the horror cabinet or as Nessaja in Tabaluga .

Inken Sommer could be heard at Bibi Blocksberg's grandma Grete, and she also spoke the witch Gundel Gaukeley in various Disney productions . Inken Sommer died in July 2018 at the age of 81; she was buried in an urn at the Dahlem forest cemetery.
