Elias goes to the castle to free her. Pravos, who feels sorry for him, tells him that a mirror that can only be defeated by the water from the Mondsee can take away the magic of the great Magus. He finds the mirror and with it redeems the people transformed by Magus. At the end he holds the mirror in front of Magus' face, there is nothing left of him.
