Devis Da Canal (born July 18, 1976 in Sterzing ) is a former Italian biathlete .

Devis Da Canal from Mareit started for SV Ridnaun . The South Tyrolean has been involved in biathlon since 1989. In 1998, he competed in his first international competitions at the World Championships in summer biathlon in Osrblie , finishing tenth in the sprint and 17th in the pursuit. At the beginning of the 1998/99 season , da Canal made her debut in the Biathlon World Cup . He played his first competitions in Hochfilzen . After finishing 46th in the individual, he won his first World Cup points as 23rd in the sprint. At the season highlight, the 1999 Biathlon World Championships at Holmenkollen in Oslo , he was 52nd in the individual. The following season was the Italian's most successful. Among other things, he achieved two places in the top ten, the best result was second place in the sprint of Khanty-Mansiysk . In the overall World Cup ranking, he finished in a good 32nd place. Best result at the World Championships of the year , which took place again in Oslo, he reached 22nd place in the individual, 35th in the sprint and 34th in the pursuit. He also reached fifth place with the relay at the World Championship race in Lahti . In September 2000 he fell on the scooter track in Oberhof and seriously injured his spine.
