The barbarians is a US American - Italian barbarian film produced in 1987 from the genre of fantasy films . The film was produced by the film production company Cannon Films . The film opened in German cinemas on May 5, 1988.
action
The two twin brothers Kutchek and Gore are looking for a magical ruby to bring back to the Ragnicks , a peaceful people of jugglers and acrobats , as it guarantees peace and happiness for them. They fight against the brutal ruler Kadar , who stole the ruby and claims it for himself. After several adventures, they are able to outsmart his henchman and at the end of the film they face Kadar in a duel for life and death. Despite his deceit , the twins can defeat him and return the ruby to the Ragnicks .
