content

  • The Ghost Ranch (Text: Claude Guylouis): Miss Bluemarket buys the Bates Ranch , which is supposed to be haunted. Lucky Luke finds out that the seller of the house is behind the ghost attacks in order to buy the building back cheaply.
  • The clairvoyant (text: Fauche / Léturgie): A man in woman's clothing acts as a clairvoyant and can thus elicit secrets from customers. Lucky Luke can prevent a robbery on the bank and bring the clairvoyant and her accomplice to jail.
  • The statue (text: Claude Guylouis): A monumental statue is to be erected in honor of Lucky Luke. The artist Michelangelo Jr. however, does a portrait of his horse Jolly Jumper, the true hero of the American West.
  • The slide (Text: Fauche / Léturgie): Carl Huebner has developed a water-borne giant for transporting wood. However, this is constantly sabotaged by Butterfield, as he wants to keep the monopoly on the timber trade. Since Lucky Luke can stop Butterfield and its passage, the patent is granted to Huebner.
