The Apache Canyon (French Canyon Apache ) is a Lucky Luke comic from 1971,writtenby René Goscinny anddrawnby Morris .

Lucky Luke investigates a longstanding conflict between Colonel O'Nollan's military camp and Chief Patronimo's Apache tribe. Disguised as a renegade , he is accepted into the Apache tribe after several tests. Since Lucky Luke wanted to prevent the acts of violence of the Apaches, he was tied to the torture stake himself. Finally, the chief's fled father, a Bohemian, appears on the scene. He was the reason for Patronimo's hatred of whites. Likewise, Colonel O'Nollan's long-missing son turns out to be the Apache medicine man. After joyful hugs from family members, the conflict ends.

The story was first printed in Pilote from 1970 to 1971 and then as an album by Dargaud .

In Germany, the album was first published in 1973 in Zack magazine and then as ZACK album no. 13. Since 1990, the band has been published by Egmont Ehapa Media as no. 61 in the series.

The story was filmed in 1991 for the Lucky Luke animated series.
