The Queen of World Baths is the title of a German silent film that Victor Janson made in 1926 for Alfred Sittarz's national film production in Berlin .

The screenplay was written by Adolf Lantz and Jane Bess based on the novel of the same name by Edward Stilgebauer . Otto Kanturek took care of the photography, Heinrich Lisson was the production manager . The stage design was created by the Russian-born film architect Jacek Rotmil . The pianist, pop singer and music publisher Austin Egen wrote the film music and the main hit from it, “Charlie-Charleston”.

The film was presented to the Berlin censorship office on December 9, 1926. The premiere of the film took place on December 10, 1926 in the UFA Theater Tauentzienpalast in Berlin. It has also been shown in Portugal and France . There he ran under the title “La Carrière d'une midinette”. This title was used as “The Diary of a Midinette” as a second distribution title in Germany and Austria. The distribution company was National-Film AG Berlin.
