The song appeared only as a promo single and was the theme song for the MDR documentary Back then after the GDR . A music video for This Moment was not shot.

This is not the first time Alvarez-Brill and Heppner have worked together. In the past, Alvarez has often worked as a producer for Heppner's former band project Wolfsheim . As a solo artist, he also produced several guest appearances by Heppner in advance. In 1998 he produced, among other things, the single Die Flut von Witt / Heppner. 2005 appeared with Maybe? already a joint promo single of the two. At this moment and maybe? So far it is the only official single release by Alvarez-Brill.
The title This Moment was written by Alvarez-Brill and Heppner especially for the documentation Back then to the GDR . It was a four-part documentary produced by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk .
