“This moment,
this wonderful dream of happiness;
and how do I wish him back.

This moment,
this wonderful dream of happiness,
but what is left of it?

What have we achieved and not missed?
What is stupidly playful and what is dreamy? "

- Refrain, original excerpt

The lyrics to this moment are written in German. The piece was written by Heppner, and Alvarez-Brill was responsible for the composition. Musically, the song moves in the area of dance pop . The song is based on two stanzas and a refrain between the stanzas and after the second stanza.

The song is about how beautiful the "Fateful Night" ( fall of the Berlin Wall ) was for Germany 20 years ago. It was a liberation that no one thought would come true. You speak of the "wonderful dream of happiness". At the same time, they ask what the reunified German people have created in the last 20 years and whether that is already all. Alvarez-Brill and Heppner want to express that Germany is on the right track, but not at the end of reunification.
