The Rocchacc district is located in the Chincheros province in the Apurímac region in central Peru . The district was formed on December 20, 2015 from parts of the Ongoy district. It has an area of ​​55.1 km². The 2017 census counted 2822 inhabitants. The district office is located in the at an altitude of about 3025  m convenient location Rocchacc 910 inhabitants (2017). Rocchacc is located about 16 km east-northeast of the provincial capital Chincheros .

Geographical location

The Rocchacc district is located in the Andean highlands in the central northeast of the Chincheros province. It measures about 9 km in north-south and east-west directions.

The Rocchacc district is bordered by the Ongoy district to the west and north, the El Porvenir district to the north-east, the Ocobamba district to the east, the Ranracancha district to the south and the Anco Huallo district to the south-west .
