Dominic Ball (born August 2, 1995 in Welwyn Garden City ) is an English - Northern Irish football player who plays for the Queens Park Rangers . He works mainly as a central defender , but can also play as a defensive midfielder or full-back .

Career

Dominic Ball was born in Welwyn Garden City , 35 kilometers north of London . In his youth he played for the London clubs Watford and Tottenham Hotspur . The Spurs loaned ball to English fourth division club Cambridge United from January to April 2015 . He played eleven league games for the club in the second half of the 2014/15 season . In August 2015 he was awarded to the Scottish second division club Glasgow Rangers for the 2015/16 season . With the Rangers he achieved promotion to the Premiership as a champion. In April 2016 he also won the Challenge Cup in the final against FC Peterhead . Rotherham United signed him in August 2016 . After playing 13 league games by December, he was loaned out to Peterborough United from January to February 2017 . From August 2017 to May 2019 he was loaned out to Aberdeen FC . From July 2019 he is under contract with the Queens Park Rangers .

National team

Dominic Ball played in Northern Ireland's national teams until 2013. In 2014, Ball moved to the English association and played in the U-19 and U-20 youth teams .
