Ilias Emilian Chair (born October 30, 1997 in Antwerp ) is a Moroccan football player who grew up in Belgium and has been under contract with the English second division team Queens Park Rangers since January 2017 . The midfielder has been a Moroccan U23 international since March 2018 .

Ilias Chair was in Flemish Antwerp , the son of Moroccan born parents and played in the youth department of FC Brugge and the Academy of Jean-Marc Guillou , before moving to the youth of Lierse SK changed. He made his debut for the first team of the Pallieters , which played in the second highest Belgian division , on August 9, 2015 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 draw against KVV Coxyde , when he played for Suleymane Baba in the 75th minute of play Diomandé was substituted on. In the 2: 3 home defeat against Cercle Bruges on a month, he was already in the starting line-up. These two missions remained his only one in the 2015/16 season and in the next season 2016/17 he did not make a single minute of use until his move.

In January 2017, he completed a trial training session with the English second division team Queens Park Rangers and was able to convince. On January 31, 2017, he signed a permanent contract with the White City , London club . The remaining season played chair with the U23 team. He also spent the following season 2017/18 with the reserves, but was also listed more often in the first team's matchday squad. He made his debut on August 8, 2017 in a 1-0 home win against Northampton Town in the 2017/18 EFL Cup , when he was exchanged for Luke Freeman in the 63rd minute of the game . On December 2, 2017 (20th match day), he played his first game in the championship in the 0-1 away defeat against Preston North End . On April 28, 2018 (45th matchday), he scored for the first time in the 3-1 home win against Birmingham City in his third league game for QPR and assisted another goal. He played four league games this 2017/18 season.

In the following season 2018/19 he did not make a breakthrough in the starting line-up and he was only used in four league games until mid-January. In order to gain match practice, he switched to the fourth division FC Stevenage on January 31, 2019 on loan until the end of the season . He made his debut on February 2, 2019 (Matchday 31), when he was on the pitch from the start in the 1-0 home win against Yeovil Town . On February 16 (33rd matchday) he scored two late goals (87th and 94th minute) in the away game against Lincoln City for a 1-1 draw and earned his club a point. He has appeared in all 16 league games since his arrival, scoring six goals in these and preparing as many more goals.

After his return to the Queens Park Rangers in the 2019/20 season, he established himself as a regular under the new head coach Mark Warburton .
