Todd Kane (born September 17, 1993 in Huntingdon ) is an English football player on the position of right back who is under contract with the Queens Park Rangers .

Career

Todd Kane made his U-18 debut in the 2009-10 season.

Preston North End

In 2012 Todd Kane was loaned to Preston North End for six weeks (until January 2013) in the 3rd English Professional League . He made his professional debut on November 24, 2016 in a 2-0 win over Leyton Orient . He played a total of five games for Preston North End.

Blackburn

Signed on January 9, 2013, he was awarded a month- long loan to Blackburn Rovers . On March 15th the contract was extended for another month. Ultimately, he played at Blackburn until the end of the 2012/13 season .

On April 25, 2013 he signed a contract with Chelsea until 2016. However, on June 25, 2013, Blackburn was loaned for the entire season.

Bristol City

On November 14, 2014, Bristol City borrowed Todd Kane for two months (until January 18, 2015). Already on November 15 he was substituted on for Scott Wagstaff in the game against Swindon Town in the 75th minute, Bristol City lost this match 1-0. On December 7, 2015 he started for Bristol City for the first time in the match against AFC Telford United in the second round of the FA Cup . He played the whole match and Bristol won 1-0.

Nottingham Forest

After his loan to Bristol City, Todd Kane was loaned to Nottingham Forest in the second English professional division until the end of the 2014/15 season. He made his debut for Nottingham Forest on January 10, 2015 in a 2-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday . After his debut he started three times for Nottingham Forest.

NEC Nijmegen

On August 6, 2015 Todd Kane was loaned to the Dutch club NEC Nijmegen for one season. On August 12, he came on as a substitute for the match against Excelsior Rotterdam . The match ended 1-0 for Nijmegen. On August 23, Todd Kane made his starting line-up debut against Ajax Amsterdam , which NEC lost 2-0. Todd Kane scored his first and only goal of the season in the 3-1 defeat by FC Utrecht on April 10, 2016. His season ended early after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the game against PEC Zwolle on April 20, and he did cannot participate in gaming operations for about half a year. His loan ended on June 30th and he returned to London .

He made his international debut in October at a friendship tournament in Limoges , France , and in October 2011 for the English U-19 team .
