Donald P. Hodel
Donald Paul Hodel (born May 23, 1935 in Portland , Oregon ) is a former American politician ( Republican Party ) who belonged to the Reagan Cabinet as Home Secretary (1985-1989).
Life
He studied at Harvard and married Barbara Stockman. 2003-2005 he was the chairman of the organization Focus on the Family . Hodel was the third Secretary of the Interior under the Ronald Reagan administration, replacing William Patrick Clark . He had previously served as energy minister . Today the Republican lives in Colorado with his wife, who has been paralyzed since an accident in 2007.
