Doron Lamb (born November 6, 1991 in New York City , New York ) is an American basketball player who began his professional career in the highest-endowed professional league NBA after graduating . He last played in Turkey for Darüşşafaka Basketbol.
Career
college
Lamb was part of that college basketball teams of the Kentucky Wildcats , which at 2012 John Calipari , the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship won. He started in the shooting guard position and was the top scorer in the final on April 2, 2012 with 22 points.
NBA
Lamb was selected 42nd place by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2012 NBA Draft in New York City, a little later than expected. Despite a mixed NBA Summer League, he made it into the professional squad of the Milwaukee Bucks . Lamb played his best game to date on December 15, 2012 against the Los Angeles Clippers . On February 21, 2013 Lamb was transferred to Orlando Magic along with Tobias Harris , Beno Udrih and a compensation amount. The bucks went to Gustavo Ayón , JJ Redick and Ishmael Smith .
After a season with the Magic, he was fired in the summer of 2014 and initially got a contract with the Dallas Mavericks before he was removed from the squad before the start of the season. Finally he got a contract with their farm team Texas Legends in the NBA Development League (D-League).
