The Dunkin 'Donuts Center is a multi-purpose hall in the US city ​​of Providence in the state of Rhode Island . The arena was built from January 1971 to late 1972 and was known as the Providence Civic Center until 2001 . It was not until June 2001 that the name rights were granted to the American donut chain Dunkin 'Donuts . The Dunkin 'Donuts Center has 14,500 seats. There are currently two clubs in the arena. On the one hand there are the Providence Bruins who play in the American Hockey League and on the other hand the men's basketball team of Providence College .
