easyJet Europe Airline GmbH is an Austrian airline based in Vienna and based at Vienna International Airport . It is a subsidiary of the British easyJet and with 140 aircraft, ahead of Austrian Airlines , it is Austria's largest airline.
history
EasyJet Europe was founded on July 18, 2017 and started flight operations on July 20, 2017 with a flight from London-Luton Airport to its new home airport Vienna. The airline was founded in order to be able to offer flights within the European Union even after the planned exit of the United Kingdom and the possible loss of freedom of the air . EasyJet Europe is to accommodate the majority of the aircraft and employees of the parent company easyJet with the exception of those stationed in Great Britain.
Destinations
Up to and including March 30, 2019, EasyJet Europe flew in the route network of the parent company EasyJet under their flight numbers (EZY); since the summer flight schedule of 2019, flights have been operated under their own flight numbers beginning with EJU.
