The Austrojet Marketing GmbH was an Austrian virtual airline based in Vienna , which flights under the name Austrojet marketed. The owner of the Air Operator Certificate was BFS Business Flight Salzburgbedarfsflug GesmbH , which had to file for bankruptcy in 2010 .

history

The company was founded in 2008 by the Salzburg private pilot and flight school operator Gerhard Wimmer. The start of flight operations should serve to build an economic axis between western Austria and the Bosnia region . In the winter of 2008/2009 all scheduled connections were suspended and Austrojet recently only flew charter services . According to the official website, the airline has meanwhile been sold to AJ Beteiligungs GmbH , and currently no aircraft are permitted on it. In the course of the insolvency of BFS Business Flight Salzburgbedarfsflug GesmbH , which also operated a flight school , Austro Control prohibited the school from operating and the company was renamed JAR Schulungs GmbH , based in Vienna.

Destinations

From April 2008 the route Salzburg - Banja Luka was served three times a week , from July 16 there was the possibility of onward flights to Tivat in Montenegro . The only connection to Germany was to Stuttgart from August 6, 2008 .
