Amerer Air was an Austrian cargo airline based in Linz-Hörsching .

history

Amerer Air was founded in 1995 by flight captain Heinz Peter Amerer as a cargo airline and has also offered road transport by truck since 1999. After the last remaining aircraft had been sold in autumn 2011, the Air Operator Certificate and the operating licenses for the implementation of air transport services were revoked in 2012 .

fleet

Amerer Air also operated two Lockheed L-188 Electra and formerly a Piper PA32 Turbo Lance until the end of 2006 . In May 2012 the last cargo plane, a Fokker F-27 (OE-ILW), left Amerer Air. This aircraft will be used for Safari Express Cargo (as 5Y-SXP) in Kenya in the future .
