Eckartsmühle is a district of the Wachenroth market in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The wasteland, consisting of two residential buildings and four outbuildings, lies on the Albach , which feeds the Marschallseen there and is a left tributary of the Reichen Ebrach . The valley is narrowly cut and surrounded by wooded hills. The Weichselberg rises in the northeast . There is a castle stable there .
history
The high court exercised the Bamberg center Wachenroth . The village and township government had the box office Wachenroth held. The landlord was the caste office Wachenroth. The place belonged to the Realgemeinde Albach . According to Bundschuh, it was "a small mill with an overshoot, half of which was made unusable by the new mill in Reichmannsdorf in 1799."
As part of the community edict, Eckartsmühle was assigned to the Wachenroth tax district formed in 1808 . In the same year the rural community Wachenroth was formed, to which the place belonged.

The district road ERH 34 / BA 2 runs past Albach to Reichmannsdorf to state road 2262 (3.3 km northwest) or to state road 2260 (2 km southeast) between Wachenroth in the west and Mühlhausen in the east.
