Eliška Klučinová (ˈɛlɪʃka ˈklutʃɪnovaː, born April 14, 1988 in Prague ) is a Czech heptathlete and two-time Olympian (2012 and 2016).
Career
Eliška Klučinová's first major success was eighth at the 2005 World Youth Championships in Marrakech . At the Athletics Junior World Championships in 2006 , she was also eighth with 5468 points. In 2007 she won a silver medal with 5709 points at the 11th European Athletics Junior Championships in Hengelo, the Netherlands . With 5505 points, she finished 23rd at the World Athletics Championships in 2009 in Berlin. In 2010 Klučinová took first place in the Czech all-around tournament "TNT - Fortuna Meeting" in Kladno with 6268 points. This makes her the Czech record holder in the heptathlon alongside Zuzana Lajbnerová .
In London's Olympic Stadium at the 2012 Olympics , she was 18th in the heptathlon .
She also took part in the 2014 European Athletics Championships , but had to give up there after one discipline.
At the European Indoor Championships in her hometown of Prague in March 2015 she won the bronze medal in the pentathlon. At the 2015 World Championships , she finished 13th in the heptathlon in August.
In Rio de Janeiro at the 2016 Olympic Games , she was 23rd in the women's heptathlon.
At the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham in 2018 , Eliška Klučinová reached fourth place in the pentathlon on March 2 with 4579 points.
