Eric Chapuis

Eric Daniel Chapuis (born July 7, 1942 in Moudon ) is a former Swiss racing driver .

Racing career

Eric Chapuis was active as a GT and sports car driver in the late 1960s and 1970s . In addition to appearances in hill climbs and in the World Sports Car Championship , Chapuis also competed twice in the Le Mans 24-hour race . In 1974 he drove a Porsche 911 Carrera RSR with Roger Dorchy and William Vollery , which broke down after an engine failure. Also in 1975 Dorchy and Vollery were his team partners. This time, valve damage on the 911 Carrera RSR stopped the trio.
