Erin Wasson
Erin Wasson (born January 20, 1982 in Irving , Texas ) is an American model .
Life
Erin Wasson's ancestors come from Ireland . Her career began when she was "discovered" by winning a young talent competition for the model agency Kim Dawson in Dallas and immediately received a contract.
Three years later it was already shown in the spring / summer shows by Balenciaga , Cacharel , Costume National , Eric Bergère , Givenchy and the Haute Couture show by Valentino . In 2001, she was in the autumn / winter season in almost 40 fashion shows there and opened the parade of Gucci . She ran at major international fashion shows for well-known designers such as Armani , Balenciaga, Cavalli , Gucci and Karl Lagerfeld .
As a result, Erin Wasson then appeared on front pages, in stories and shootings of numerous large fashion magazines such as Vogue (in several national editions), Harpers Bazaar , Numéro, Esquire and Elle .
She has also worked for renowned photographers such as Steven Meisel , Mario Testino , Peter Lindbergh , Patrick Demarchelier , Michael Thompson , David Sims , Richard Burbridge and Ellen von Unwerth . Karl Lagerfeld photographed them for the 2011 Pirelli calendar .
Fashion, jewelry and cosmetics companies booked them for advertising campaigns. She ran on the Victoria's Secret lingerie show in 2007.
Wasson also works as a stylist, fashion designer and actress. Alexander Wang hired her as a stylist for some of his fashion shows. In spring 2008 Wasson launched her own fashion jewelry collection, in spring 2009 a clothing line in cooperation with a surf and skate fashion label.
Wasson played a supporting role as a party girl in Sofia Coppola's film Somewhere . In autumn 2008 she appeared together with Justin Timberlake as part of a multimedia advertising campaign for his fashion label William Rast as well as in several commercials shot by Jonas Åkerlund . In 2012 she played the vampire Vadoma in the movie Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter .
Erin Wasson lives in Santa Monica , California.
