Ermedin Demirović (born March 25, 1998 in Hamburg , Germany ) is a Bosnian- German football player . He currently plays for SC Freiburg.
Career
societies
Demirović grew up in Hamburg and was trained at the Hamburger SV youth training center before moving to the RB Leipzig youth academy in 2014 . On April 13, 2017, he played 1-1 for the second team on matchday 28 of the Regionalliga-Nordost season 2016/17 against ZFC Meuselwitz for the first time in the men's area.
In the summer of 2017 he moved to Spain to Deportivo Alavés and made his debut on January 28, 2018 in a 1: 2 away game against FC Barcelona in professional football. Alavés managed to stay up at the end of the season. In July 2018 Demirović switched to the French second division club FC Sochaux on loan . The loan agreement was terminated after six months. He was then awarded by Deportivo Alavés within Spain to UD Almería . Ermedin Demirovic did not make a breakthrough there either. So he returned after six months to Vitoria-Gasteiz , where Deportivo Alavés is based.
In September 2019, the Basques awarded him for the third time, this time to Switzerland for FC St. Gallen . There he became a regular player and service provider. He scored thirteen goals in 25 games and prepared five more goals. In July 2020 Demirovic left Deportivo Alavés for good and returned to Germany, where he joined Bundesliga club SC Freiburg .
National team
Demirović played nine times for the Bosnian U-17 national team and eleven times for the U-19s . On September 1, 2017, he made his debut for the U-21 national team in a 3-1 defeat in the European Championship qualifier against Romania in Zenica .
