Career

Ernandes began his career in 2005 with the lower-class Ferroviário AC (CE) . He then changed clubs every year, including 2009 in Norway with Brann Bergen , but remained in the lower divisions. He arrived in the top Brazilian league in 2010 as part of a loan deal. He came to Ceará SC . With this he played his first Série A game on May 9, 2010. In the 1-0 win over Fluminense Rio de Janeiro , he came on for Thyago Fernandes in the 58th minute . He scored his first goal in the league that same season . On July 23, 2010 in the game against Guarani FC Ernandes scored in the 53rd minute to make it 0: 1 (the result was 1: 1).

As part of another loan deal, Ernandes came to Atlético Goianiense in 2011 in the current season . This took the player under contract in 2012. With the club he played his first game on an international level. In the Copa Sudamericana 2012 he faced Figueirense FC on August 23, 2012 . The game ended 1: 1 after regular time. In the subsequent penalty shootout , he converted his team's third shot to 2: 3 (2: 4).

At the beginning of 2014 it became known that Ernandes had moved to the Republic of Moldova to join Sheriff Tiraspol . With the club he competed in the qualifying round for the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League , in the play-offs of the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League and the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League qualifying round. In his first season, Ernandes won the national championship here and the cup in the second year .

In 2015 the player went back to Brazil. First to the Ceará SC , where he did not play. From January 2016 he then played for América Mineiro . He had reached fourth place in the table in Série B in the 2015 season and thus qualified for the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2016 . At the end of 2017, Ernandes left the club again. In 2018 he played again in the state championships for Ceará and in the national championship for the Goiás EC . After initially being without a new club at the beginning of 2019, he accepted an offer from Chapecoense in April 2019 to compete in Série A.
