Ernst August Kurt von Seydewitz

Ernst August Kurt von Seydewitz (born January 15, 1852 in Lauterbach , † January 22, 1929 in Dresden ) was Saxony's finance minister .

He came from the Meissen nobility family von Seydewitz and was the fifth child of Lord von Sohland Kurt von Seydewitz (1814–1863). Ernst von Seydewitz initially worked as the Royal Saxon Secret Finance Council in the Ministry of Finance in Dresden before he was appointed Minister of Finance in 1910. He held this office until October 25, 1918.

Seydewitz married Klothilde von Rex (* 1865), daughter of the Saxon Lieutenant General Hermann von Rex , on May 25, 1887 .
