Esther Egger-Wyss (born October 2, 1952 in Menziken , legal domicile in Rechthalten ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Life

Egger-Wyss was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau from 1997 to 2007 . She led the CVP Group for 4½ years and was President of the Council in 2006/2007. From 2001 to the end of 2011 she was Vice President of CVP Aargau.

She was elected to the National Council in 2007 . There she was a member of the Finance Commission, the State Political Commission, the Commission on Pardons and Conflicts of Jurisdiction, and the Rehabilitation Commission. In 2011 she missed re-election and left the grand chamber.

Egger-Wyss lives in Kirchdorf . She is the mother of three children.
