Technical college (Bundeswehr)
Technical schools of the Bundeswehr ( FSBw ) train soldiers of the Bundeswehr as part of their military training and lead to civilian vocational qualifications from a German technical school .
The technical schools are not to be confused with the Bundeswehr technical school of the personnel organizational area , which provide temporary soldiers with education for the transition to civilian employment at the end of their service life as a measure of the vocational promotion service .
After passing the final examination, the graduates receive, for example, a recognized qualification as a state-certified business economist , state-certified technician or master craftsman in the automotive engineering trade, which corresponds to level 6 according to the German and European qualifications framework . A qualification as a concrete and reinforced concrete worker as well as an electrical engineer, information technician or technical assistant for computer science can be acquired.
The technical schools are often not independent agencies , but part of other Bundeswehr training institutions. Of the four technical schools that exist today, only the Air Force Technical School is a separate department.
