Faisa Dame Tasama (born October 12, 1987 ) is a Belgian long-distance runner of Ethiopian origin.

Life

Faisa Dame Tasama has lived in Belgium since 2005 and received Belgian citizenship in December 2016. He is married to Almensh Belete , a Belgian athlete who also comes from Ethiopia and whose sister Mimi Belete competes for Bahrain .

Several times, Lady Tasama took part in Belgian athletics championships without starting a ranking and finished them in one of the top places. He was particularly successful in cross-country skiing , where he won internationally known competitions such as the EAA Cross Country Permit Meetings .

In Germany he started several times in the Trier New Year's Eve run . In 2011 it ran to seventh place, 2013 to third place and 2014 to eighth place. At the 2018 European Cross Country Championships near Tilburg ( NLD ), he finished in 21st place.
