history

Fallerschein was a permanent settlement belonging to the Berwang parish and consisting of three to six courtyards from the middle of the 15th century . From around 1600 it was only managed from Stanzach in summer. In 1775 the settlement consisted of 45 houses, in 1837 there were 48 houses, in 1971 there were 35. In the 19th century, Fallerschein came to the community of Stanzach.

The "Maria zum Guten Rat" chapel on a hill above the Almdorf was built in 1844. A rock fall in March 1867 destroyed all the buildings that were subsequently rebuilt. After the end of World War II, the alpine village developed into a summer resort with an alpine dairy and an inn.
